There was a bug found recently in a recent release of MagicSpam for MailEnable whereby the application could fault resulting in temporary loss of SMTP service. This was found to be related strictly to cases where connections would come from addresses using CNAME PTR delegations where the CNAME was a record that would not / could not resolve.
This has now been patched. There is a fresh package available for download at:
Simply enter your license key, and download the new installer from the site to your server. Then run the executable to install the updated software, and launch the Administration interface to enable protection again.
