Log Search Functionality

Post by Pantheon » Sat Feb 22, 2014 8:53 am

We have just upgraded to v1.0.6-1.1 and I have the following requests:

1. Provide option to search logs by date range.
2. Add subject line to logs if possible as this will help when communicating with clients.
3. Summary per domain: # of filtered emails, Good email, Exceptions, Spam, Virus, Filter Type if blocked, Total Messages.
4. Option to have the aforementioned summary emailed to the client email address on a daily / weekly basis).
5. Option for user to whitelist / blacklist from the summary report by clicking on a link.
6. Show search results on new page so that all fields content is visible, v1.0.6-1.1 isn't user friendly.
7. Add a refresh button on search results page to avoid having to redo searching when we are actively troubleshooting an issue. The previous version allowed me to refresh the page (⌘ R on OS X) to see the latest results. E.g. most recent 50 spam messages
8. Hyperlink TYPE field in search results to the associated explanation page on your site.

Thanks for the great product guys! It is working incredibly well for us.

Ps. On point 4. Allow for branding of summary report with the service providers logo and then add a "Powered by MagicSpam" line in the footer. This will offer great exposure for both parties.

Kind regards
