Remove my IP from black list.

There will always be opinions, both good and bad on how MagicSpam protection, rules and policies are used, and what the defaults should be. Different environments may have different needs. We try to find the perfect balance, and that is not always easy. Just remember that we have to satisfy millions of users.. not just one person.

Remove my IP from black list.

Post by zaruun » Fri Sep 04, 2020 4:18 am

Hello,

Please remove my IP from your blacklist.

>: 550 5.7.0 Your server hostname [cloudserver003054.home.pl] for IP [212.85.108.6] matches a pattern which was abusive in the past. See http://spamauditor.org/best-practices/c ... _dns_list/ for more information.. Protection provided by MagicSpam 2.0.22-2 http://www.magicspam.com

My server is not listed in any other spamlists. My RevDNS is correct.

Hello zarun,

Thank you for your post. If you follow the URL in the rejection notice, you should find detailed information as to why your message was blocked.

Based on the rejection message, it is the revers DNS record: cloudserver003054.home.pl that is known for sending large amount of spam in the past. To resolve this issue, simply update your rDNS record to something that better represent your email server:

e.g:
mail.domain.tld

We are the developers of the software and not the operators of the email server. If you feel your messages are being blocked without just cause, contact the recipient via alternative means and ask them to 'whitelist' you, or contact your email administrator to address the issues that caused your messages to be rejected.

We hope this information helps.
