Protection can't be enabled after Update

Post by puzzel76 » Thu Apr 06, 2017 12:09 am

After updating to the latest version, I can no longer activate single domains for protection.
The domains in question are part of a package that spam protection is enabled for. Already synced them again.
After switching protection to ON and saving, the switch goes to the OFF state again.

Receiving lots of spam again.
What can I do?

kind regards
Mario

Hello Mario,

Thank you for your post.

To be able to assist you better with this issue, could you please let us know what is the current MagicSpam version on your system?

Also could you please let us know if the MagicSpam Protection Status under Settings -> System is currently disabled? If you click 'Enable Protection', is there an error message?

Could you also fill us in on the following information about your platform:

- Operating System and Version

- Operating System Architecture (32 bit or 64 bit)

- Plesk version

- MTA (Qmail or Postfix)

Also, if you are currently experiencing increased uncaught spam on your system, please fee free to send us MagcSpam logs for examination at our support email address:

support@magicspam.com

To retrieve MagicSpam logs, you can use the MagicSpam interface and access the "Logs" tab.

In the log search result output, you have the option to export/save the log search results to a CSV file. Once you have the CSV file, you can email that as an attachment to us for examination using your email client.

Please make sure that you remove entries where mua=yes and highlight only HAM entries that are spam.

Also, can you please send us screenshots of the following two tabs in your MagicSpam control panel:

Settings / Server Policies
and
Settings / IP Reputation

With the requested information, we will be able to provide better suggestions for addressing the uncaught spam issue.
