Ratelimits for internal emails

Post by sriwebtech » Mon Jul 24, 2017 1:05 am

Hi,

Is there any way to not to count any internal emails towards rate limits?
I have few clients who have large amount of internal emailing which gets triggered ratelimit threshold.
Thanks & Regards,

Hello sriwebtech,

Thank you for your post.

To exclude any of your customers from the Rate Limiter while sending emails, please add their email address to the "Per-User Rate Limiter Whitelist" under the:

Settings / Exemptions

tab in your MagicSpam admin interface panel.

We hope this information helps.

that option would be dangerous as it will whitelist all outbound emails from that user, even emails which are sent to external domains.
i want option to only whitelist ratelimit if "from" and "to" address has same local domain

If this is not yet part of magicspam, please consider as feature request as its useful for domains with heavy internal mail volumes.

Hello sriwebtech,

Thank you for the reply.

MagicSpam does not yet have the option to exclude sender from the Rate Limiter only when sending emails to local recipients.

We have now created a ticket for this feature and passed it to our development team for consideration.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
