When you say "4 emails stuck in there" do you mean that everytime you run mailq you only see the same 4 emails? If so what date are they from and what are their statuses ?
Mailq should be dynamic - it should be a snapshot of all emails currently queued for delivery.

Re: Account overrun with spam
What Operating System is your mail system running on?
For Postfix the mailq command should diplay your queue. You can then use tools such as less or grep (available for Windows also) to assist in reading, searching and to filter the output.

Re: Mails rejected from valid domain
It's possible that a temporary DNS failure at the time it was 'accepted' caused this.
If it continues to happen it may be worth implementing monitoring for DNS services to identify if this is the cause.

Re: Account overrun with spam
You're welcome glad we can help out. RE your clients getting a message to let them know their message was rejected by MagicSpam: rejections are different to bounces. Rejections occur during the conversation between sending and receiving mail servers. The receiving mail server rejects the message giv...

Re: Account overrun with spam
Hi there, It's unclear why your server's reputation has dropped from the information provided. MagicSpam doesn't send bounce messages for messages identified as Spam so this would not explain your increase in mail volume. What do IP reputation sites such as www.senderscore say about your server's IP...

Re: How to use DNS whitelists
Hi PSi,
Currently it's not possible to use external DNS whitelists with MagicSpam.
However domain based whitelisting based within MagicSpam is supported using Mail From Exemption lists.
Please post back if you need any help with this.

Re: Is Spamassassin really needed with MagicSpam
MagicSpam blocks at the pre-SMTP level using such checks as valid reverse DNS. For email coming from large webmail providers or from determined spammers with properly configured mail servers often the only remaining option is to filter by content using a tool such as Spam Assasin. We don't have any ...

Re: Using Magicspam some smtp accounts are rejected and some not
Hi there,
We just tried sending emails to julien@nawak.com and smtp@nawak.com and got:
553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)
Please post your system setup (OS, mail system) and your user setup (anonymized).
Thanks.

Re: invalid mailenable user check
Hi Doug,
For the delayed emails are you able to forward the headers or the entire email as an attachment to support@magicspam.com ?
We'd like to analyze the headers to pinpoint the delay.
Or post the headers to this forum with email addresses etc. anonymized.

Re: invalid mailenable user check
Unfortunately the hooks that MailEnable provided to us do not do valid user checking prior to passing off to MagicSpam. This is something we are presently working on with MailEnable to resolve but will likely not be available until a later 4.x release of MailEnable. Thank you for bringing this to ou...
